About CBETA

Objectives

1. 01To provide knowledge concerning tax issues and awareness to clearly understand the role of tax in the development of the Tanzania economy, boosting tax compliance, hence building future competent tax policy makers and future smart tax payers.
2. 02To coordinate, collaborate, give and obtain advice in all matters of tax with all national and international tax authorities.
3. 03To host events focusing on professional development and strengthening the relationship between the student population and external organizations in the fields of Tax, Accounting and Finance.
4. 04To organize from time to time panel discussions, seminars and public lectures with the TRA and elsewhere, to disseminate knowledge of tax portfolios in the country.
5. 05To promote and develop youth leadership and roles towards different tax and customs opportunities available in the country.
6. 06To host tax quizzes and tax essay competitions from which winners will emerge and be rewarded.
7. 07To encourage and suggest proper syllabus coverage in the field of tax.
8. 08To organize panel discussions, public lectures, seminars and conferences at university level and elsewhere, disseminating tax knowledge and serving as a platform for exchanging views on social problems.
9. 09To provide a medium of communication on matters pertaining to the tax profession between students and the Tanzania Revenue Authority.
10. 10To carry out any other activity that shall enhance the Association's objectives as may be depicted by the members through legal meetings or executive organs of the Association.
